INTRO.
-There are all sorts of conspiracy theories out there, ie
-According to Scripture, there is such a thing as aliens. In fact we’re going to look at 6 different types of aliens mentioned in Scripture. It’s possible that all 6 types are represented in this congregation today!
-Maybe you’re an alien. The question is, what kind?
6 TYPES OF ALIENS
A. ANTAGONISTIC- one who opposes and contends against another, an adversary
Psalm 144:7-8 Stretch forth Your hand from on high;
NASB Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters,
Out of the hand of aliens
Whose mouths speak deceit,
And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
-anti-Christian groups in the USA (10 commandments, pledge, no prayer)
think seperation of church and state means no God in government, that religious people shouldn’t be leaders.
-those who don’t want to be hear today. They’re opposed to Christianity.
-Bahai faith
Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
B. LOCAL- of, relating to, or characteristic of a particular place
2 Chronicles 2:17 Solomon took a census of all the aliens who were in Israel, after the census his father David had taken; and they were found to be 153,600.
-those that think they are sort-saved, kinda-Christian…they are really-wrong
-just coming to church, hanging out with the church crowd, being in a Christian family,
refraining from the big sins, that’s not enough
-they were to become Israelites, circumcised. Today, they are to receive circumcised
hearts and be saved and entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
-The church is to treat these as natives
Leviticus 19:34 The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God
C. INDIGNANT- angered at something unjust or wrong

1 Peter 1:1+6 To those who reside as aliens...even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
-the Bible is very honest that, in this world, life is difficult
-instead of complaining, realize that you’re not home yet

D. ELECT- one who is chosen or selected
-we are not of this world, we are waiting something far greater
Hebrews 11:13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.
Ephesians 2:19-20 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone
1 Peter 2:11-12 Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
E. NEEDY- wanting or needing affection, attention, or reassurance
-helping fellow Christians, missionaries, etc
3 John 1:5 Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even though they are strangers to you.
-helping those in our world that need help, social activism (food pantry, boys and girl
club, etc)
Deut. 10:17-19 For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing. And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.
F. SUPERNATURAL- not subject to natural laws; not physical or material
Hebrews 13:1-2 Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
