He was filled with the Spirit (3:8a)
He was focused on sin (3:8b)

Micah 2

The SINS of Israel (2:1-11)
They ­­­­­­coveted possessions (2:1-5)
They covered their ears (2:6-7, 10-11)
They crushed the needy (2:8-9)

A HOPEFUL Prophecy (2:12-13)
The remnant will be reunited (2:12)
The Lord will be their Leader (2:13)

Verses 2-7 The Plot
“The LORD is coming…because of the sins of the house of Israel”
1. Samaria- Capital of Northern Kingdom
2. Jerusalem- Capital of Southern Kingdom

Verses 8-9 The Prophet
“I will make Samaria a heap of rubble…for her wound is incurable
