ANGER MANAGEMENT
Ephesians 4:20-27 (NIV/NKJV)
1. Christians need not be ruled by anger (20)
2. Victory is found through Christ (21)
3. We must take Adam off (22)
4. We must let the Spirit change our mind (23)
5. We must put Christ on (24)
In your anger
do not sin
1. Anger is not a sin
2. Anything can make you angry
3. Many things will make you angry
4. Some things should make you angry
5. Ask yourself, ‘what makes me angry?’
6. Try hard not to be the offended
7. Try hard not to be the offender
Do not let the sun go down
While you are still angry
1. Anger can turn into sin
2. Anger must be dealt with
3. Anger is the devil’s door
4. Don’t scream your anger
5. Don’t silence your anger
6. Don’t remember your anger
7. Always be willing to forgive

20 You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. 21 Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off the old man, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new man, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
