Who should we listen to?

1. Those who are willing to suffer for their cause (2:2)
2. Those who boldly declare the Gospel (2:2)
3. Those who don’t speak from impure motives (2:3)
4. Those who don’t use tricks/manipulation (2:3)
5. Those who have been approved by God (2:4)
6. Those who aim to please God, not men (2:4)
7. Those who don’t use flattery (2:5)
8. Those who aren’t secretly in it for themselves (2:5)
9. Those who aren’t looking for praise from men (2:6)
10. Those who have the right to be harsh with us (2:7)
11. Those who choose to be gentle/nurturing (2:7)
12. Those who love you, have your interest at heart (2:8)
13. Those who share their lives with you (2:8)
14. Those who work hard at the ministry (2:9)
15. Those who set a holy/righteous/blameless example (2:10)
16. Those who deal with us as a good father would (2:11)
17. Those whose words are the words of God (2:13)
18. Those whose words bear fruit (2:13)
19. Those who face opposition (2:15)
20. Those who don’t stop thinking/praying for you (2:17)
21. Those who consider their subjects their crown (2:19)
22. Those who make sure you’re in good hands (3:2)
23. Those who give practical instruction (4:1)
24. Those who speak by the authority of Jesus Christ (4:2)
