1. Respect, regard & submit to godly leaders (5:12-13)
2. Warn those who are idle (5:14a)

5. Be patient with everyone (5:14d)
6. Make sure that nobody repays evil for evil (5:15)
7. Be joyful always (5:16)
8. Pray continually (5:17)
9. Give thanks in all circumstances (5:18)
10. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire (5:19)
11. Do not treat prophecies with contempt (5:20)
