Luke 22:1-23
Luke 22:1-23
The Last Supper
Judas (Luke 22:1-6)
1. He was a thief (John 12:6)
“He was a thief; as keeper of the money bag,
he used to help himself to what was put into it”
2. He was a betrayer (Matthew 26:16)
“From then on Judas watched
for an opportunity to hand him over”
3. He was possessed (John 13:27)
“As soon as Judas took the bread,
Satan entered into him”
4. He was a liar (Matthew 26:25)
Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said,
"Surely not I, Rabbi?"
5. He was a murderer (Matthew 27:5)

Then he went away and hanged himself”
Why do you think Judas did what he did?

He said the cup now represented His blood! (22:20)
Terms for this Ritual

2. Communion (1 Corinthians 10:16, KJV)
3. The Eucharist (Luke 22:17)
