Psalm 92 Stand the Test of Time
~ The wicked flourish like grass (7)
~ The righteous flourish like palm trees (12)
This Psalm admits that flourishing is possible for all, righteous and wicked alike, but the length of the prosperity is determined by the Lord. The righteous will be vindicated.
Psalm 94 God Sees the Wicked
It is foolish to think wickedness escapes the recognition of God
1-7 Describes the wicked
8-11 Describes how they aren't tricking God
12-23 Describes the vindication the righteous will receive
Psalm 102 The Cure for Feeling Frail
His Feelings: Loneliness, dread, pain, frailty
His Cure:
1) Identify with an enduring God
2) Identify with an enduring city
The cure for these feelings is not self-help, but help from God and the church
Psalm 118 Confidence in the Lord

Psalm 120 Quest for Truth & Peace
This is the first of the Psalms of ascent (120-134). The author looked forward to freedom from the lying, warring people he had been dwelling with.
