Eternal Judgment
Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so. (Hebrews 6:1-3)
Acts 17:31
For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.
Judging in the 21st Century World
Our world is superficially opposed (Mt. 7:1)
--some view God as a gentle grandfather (early 20th century)
--some view God as a cosmic cop (mid 20th century)
--some view God as a longing lover (late 20th century)
Our world is seriously confused (John 7:24)
Our world is subject to wrath (Romans 2:5)
God is SLOW to anger
Noah’s Day (Genesis 6:3, 1 Peter 3:20)

Jewish Leaders (Matthew 23:29-36)

God is slow to ANGER
Christ conveyed the reality of judgment
