Jesus for President (Part 35: The Chained Beast)
As the common people began more and more to speculate about and support Jesus, the Pharisees became more and more aggressive in denouncing Him. On this occasion, they accused Jesus of being a servant of Satan.
Jesus’ Rebuttal
1. Why would Satan drive out demons? (25-26)
2. Why couldn’t I make the same accusation? (27)
3. Why not consider that I might be the Messiah? (28)
4. Why not see this as evidence that I’m stronger (29)
Jesus’ Warning
1. Be careful of your conclusions about me (30)
2. Be careful of hardening your heart too much (31-32)
3. Be careful of the words you choose to say (33-37)
4. Be careful of demanding 1 more sign (38-42)
5. Be careful of leaving the door open for evil (43-45)
